I was asked to voice a couple of characters for Variant Frequencies' "Failed Cities Monologues" and the first of those - Sally, a fortune teller from the East End, has just gone live.  This has been a really neat project for me working with an expansive story unfolding through each of the character's unique perspective.

The Variant Frequencies podcast presents a blend of scifi, fantasy, horror and some odd bands in between from month to month.  It's been a pleasure to work with Rick, Matt & Anne. I look forward to unleashing Fera soon...

I mentioned this briefly at the end of Show #3 and wanted to encourage folks to call in or email me with your responses to the new Zone Query!

What do you think about X-Men 3: The Last Stand?
Were you pleased?  entertained? disappointed?
Did you like the story?
Did the previews/trailers show too much?

Feel free to answer any of these questions or give me your own original take on things.  I want to hear your point of view and I'd love to get some voicemail, people...

Call the Zone at 206.984.9599!

The Zone has just reached 1000 listeners today and I'm thrilled!

I never imagined reaching that landmark so soon when I started this little experiment back in February.  Some of you may know that the Zone is pretty much a one-woman production - the Zone Crew 'volunteers' dwindled to non-existent before the first show was ever released.  Everything from building the web sites and forums to arranging and conducting the interviews, audio production and final editing gets knocked out by one person right now (who also has a family and full-time job).

So it is incredibly gratifying to see the show's audience growing and becoming more involved as time passes.  All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you and THANK YOU for your support, feedback and contributions!  Please, keep 'em coming.

The Zone listeners are awesome!!
